About Our Store

We are currently in the process of setting up our full service web store. In the meantime, we are using a free shopping cart system provided by eCrater.com. This allows us to offer you a partial inventory of our most popular items, as well as maintain costs and our low offering prices. The only downside to this cart system is that it is that it is text based, and therefore does not provide full functionality for site owners or the flashy effects that buyers may be accustomed to with larger cart systems.

How to Place an Order at EarringArtistry.com

Placing an order is easy!  Registration is NOT required to view or purchase products from our store. When you see an item you wish to purchase click on the "BUY NOW" button. Continue this process until you are ready to checkout.

Each time you add an item to your Shopping Cart, you will be shown your shopping cart contents that lists the item(s) you are purchasing, the quantity, and price. If you are not finished shopping, click on the link that says CONTINUE SHOPPING.

When you have finished shopping, please click on view Cart on the top menu bar. Check your items thoroughly to make sure there are no mistakes. Now you are ready to check out.

Next, you will choose your method of payment. We currently accept all major credit cards and eChecks through Google Checkout and Paypal. By default, the eCrater checkout displays the Google Checkout badge as our preferred payment choice. If you wish to pay with Google, simply click the Google Checkout badge, and proceed to checkout. If you wish to pay through Paypal, you will click Alternative Checkout to fill out your shipping information, and then click Proceed to Checkout to complete your payment.

If you have a coupon or discount code, you will enter it during your final checkout process through Google or Paypal.

Once you have completed the checkout process, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. If you do not receive an email confirmation of your order within a few minutes of ordering, please contact us immediately so we can ensure your purchase went through.

Your credit card statement will show a charge from PERFECTPIERCER. (PLEASE NOTE: THIS INFORMATION MAY BE TRUNCATED BY SOME CREDIT CARD COMPANIES).

Shipping and Handling

1) Buyer pays for shipping, handling and insurance.

2) Shipping is calculated by weight. Each item description will show you the shipping cost for the item listed in the upper right hand corner for USPS FIRST CLASS shipping. For multiple item purchases, combined shipping charges will automatically be calculated during checkout. If you feel the shipping cost seems too high, please contact us right away, as the shipping calculator may have overcharged in error. If you wish to upgrade shipping to USPS Priority Mail, please contact us for an updated invoice. All shipping costs include delivery confirmation when available.

3) We do not guarantee delivery times with any method.

4) Labels are printed each morning for all items paid (and clearing our account) within the previous 24 hrs & forwarded to the post office for delivery. Most items ship within 24 hours. On very rare occasions, it may take up to 48 hours for your item to ship. Items paid on Friday afternoon & Saturday ship Monday, excluding holidays. Sunday items generally ship Tuesday, however, we do make every effort to ship them out on Monday. Items paid with Paypal eCheck be held until payment clears our account.  If you have requested item alterations, or have made changes to your order, shipping may be delayed.

Sales Tax


5% sales tax will be charged to all orders shipped within the State of Maine.

 

Shipping and Handling for Canadian and International Buyers


1) Canada: Shipping costs to Canada are displayed along with US costs in each item description. We will be happy to ship to other international destinations, excluding Italy and France. Please contact us for a shipping quote to your country.

2) Shipping is USPS First Class or Priority International, based on the actual size and weight of the total order. We apologize, but at this time we do not insure or register International shipments.  If this is unacceptable and you worry for the security of your package, please do not submit an order.

3) International orders may take up to 30 days to arrive. We cannot guarantee delivery times on international shipments and ask that you be patient.

4) Most orders are shipped within 2 business days of your Paypal or Google payment. These are the only payment methods accepted for International orders, and must be paid with credit card in US funds. No exceptions.

5) Additional Costs You May Have To Pay - Please be advised that since you are considered the importer of record, you must; (a) comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country, (b) pay import duties and taxes, if any, on the merchandise in this shipment, and (c) pay additional charges if any such as necessary brokerage services for customs clearance. Before confirming this order, we urge you to check out the amount of additional import charges if any for the merchandise you are ordering. If necessary, contact your local customs office for this information. Packages are marked as "Merchandise". We will not mark "Gift" on the customs form; please do not ask us to.

US • Canada • International – Credit cards only. Use Google Checkout and you will be asked to sign up as part of the checkout procedure if you do not already have an account. Easy Fast Safe Reliable. Google checkout is our preferred method of payment. 

We accept

US • Canada • International – US buyers may pay with any major credit card or bank transfers (eChecks). If paying with eCheck your order will not ship until payment clears our account.

All International orders, including Canada, must submit a credit card payment in US funds only.  Payments in any other currency will be refused, and your order will not be processed.  your order will not ship until payment clears our account.

Returns

We at EarringArtistry.com pride ourselves on customer satisfaction.  Although it is our intention to display images and descriptions of each item that are true to material, color, size, etc., colors vary with individual monitors and system settings, and sometimes item details are inevitably missed.  We recognize that the buyer is deprived of the tactile and visual experience when purchasing on the web.

Therefore, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly refund your purchase price provided that you contact us within three (3) days of receipt and ship the merchandise back to us within one week (seven days) in the same condition in which you received it.  Please print and complete our product return form, which can be found here, and be sure to include it along with your item in its original packaging (i.e., gift box, etc.). Packages returned from within the US must be posted with shipping confirmation; however, for your own protection, we suggest that you purchase shipping insurance.

For health reasons, we cannot accept any ear piercing products or supplies once the packaging has been opened or otherwise compromised. You must return your piercing product sealed and intact, except in cases of defect or gross misrepresentation.

Multiple item returns and returns with a value over $35 will incur a 12% restocking fee.

We do not refund shipping expenses under any circumstances.

In cases of defect or damages for any of our products, please contact us for immediate assistance.

Cancellations and Order Adjustments 

If you need to cancel or make adjustments to your completed order, then you can do so by contacting us within the first hour after your order has been placed.  After this time, you may still try to contact us; however, because we have a strong commitment to getting your order processed, packed and shipped in the fastest and most efficient manner possible, we cannot guarantee we can catch it before it leaves our facility. If we can manage to assist you after the one hour time limit, then a 12% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund amount, or added to any order needing changes.

Privacy

Once you place an order at Earring Artistry your personal information such as: your name, email address, telephone number, and shipping address, are used for the sole purpose to send your order and contact you when necessary. We do not sell or share your information. Being that all orders are paid through Paypal or Google checkout, we have no access to your financial information, as both of these payment providers are completely secure and confidential.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
